This was developed in Copenhagen in 2000 as a project for Roskilde Festival by Ronni Abergel and his brother Dany and their colleagues Asma Mouna and Christoffer Erichsen.
It aims to challenge prejudice against social contact among people and break stereotypes.
In this project, an individual works as a 'book' which talks back and answers any question the 'reader' might have pertaining to story, hence helping the 'reader' to absorb the material with greater depth.
The persons can be 'checked out', and can engage in conversations and share stories with the public.

In the recently concluded first ODI between Windis and Afghanistan, the bails weren't used at some point as due to some reason the bails failed to remain in place. What could be that reason?

    1) Human Library
    2) Strong winds failed to keep bails in place and hence, were removed
