X was a left handed batsman and occasional medium pace bowler. He was the second Indian batsman, after Y, to score a hundred on Test debut. X died at the age of 87 on 16 May 2016 at his Ahmedabad home after suffering from lung cancer. He was India's oldest former Test cricketer at time of his death. Id X.

K. M. Nanavati vs. State of Maharashtra was a 1959 case where Kawas Manekshaw Nanavati, a Naval Commander, was tried for the murder of Prem Ahuja, his wife's lover. The incident received unprecedented media coverage and inspired several books and movies. Nanavati, accused under section 302, was initially declared not guilty by a jury under Section 302 but the verdict was dismissed by the Bombay High Court and the case was retried as a bench trial.. The case was the last to be heard as a jury trial in India, as the government abolished jury trials.
An upcoming Akshay Kumar starrer is based on or inspired by this case.
